When winegrowers register themselves at they simultaneously adhere to the following seven principles regarding their farming and production methods.

1 – No use of pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilizers in the vineyards
2 – Grapes are only harvested by hand
3 – If grapes are sources from other growers, those partners also work according to the rules above
4 – No cultured yeast for fermentation
5 – No addition of enzymes at any point
6 – No additions or mechanical processes for artificially increasing or reducing levels of sugar, acidity, tannin or alcohol (re-fermentation for sparkling wines excluded)
7 – Complete transparency when asked about farming and winemaking practices

This is their promise. And we trust them!

(Of course, we also ask the wine importers we collaborate with to have a look at the codex.)
